My Site Has Been down Four Times in Two Weeks

I read some good reviews about this hosting company and decided to sign up with them. How much wrong I could be in making this decision? For the first two weeks, the site seemed to be functioning well. I was satisfied that I had installed all my scripts correctly and that they were working exactly the same as with my previous web host. But then, all of a sudden, I started to see downtime. I thought it was momentary and may be resolved pretty soon. However, the third week of my hosting with HostMonster brought my site down twice, the first time for at least one hour and the second time for more than two hours. The last week has been terrible too and the total downtime in two instances has exceeded an hour. I have talked to their technical support and they say that there will be no more downtime after this and that it was because of some technical issues. I am now monitoring the downtime with HostTracker but honestly speaking, I expect little improvement. If it persists, I'm sure I'll have to move to another web host really soon. Definitely a bad decision!
