Doesn't do what is says on the website

I bought iPage's web hosting plan 4 months ago, but because of lack of suitable web authoring tools, decided to cancel within 30 days (although they advertise an any-time money back). However I'm being refused $15 for the domain name and I wonder why. The domain name was advertised as free, so there is no point of deducting $15 for it. I'm still struggling to get my full refund, but I am not happy with the current state of affairs.

iPage web hosting is just average

I switched to iPage after hosting my site with Register.com for a few months. Register is damn expensive and so I could bear their costs for only a few months. The switching did not cause me much pain as with the other hosts out there and the whole process was more or less straightforward. My operating costs have reduced significantly plus customer support at iPage is also not bad. My overall rating for them however would still be average as indicated in my ratings on different criteria.

I am a web designer and I've been offering web design services to my clients for the last five years or so. I own two websites, both of which are hosted with iPage. My web design business has been running without any interruptions and I'm extremely pleased with the quality hosting service offered by iPage backed by a highly responsive and knowledgeable customer support. Their telephone support has proved to be really awesome. My experience with these guys has been wonderful so far and I don't expect to switch hosts anytime soon.
