Five years ago, I was searching for a web host that could offer me unlimited space, unlimited data transfer, and the option to host unlimited domain names. I came across a few web hosting reviews sites where I found plenty of positive reviews about HostGator. Finally, I decided to sign up with them and have since not regretted my decision. I am a professional webmaster with a degree in web design and I have developed 10 websites so far. I have hosted all of my domain names on a single plan with HostGator. I'm also extremely pleased with the customer support at HostGator and would highly recommend them to you.

I have hosted my website www.webhostlead.com with HostGator since 2008 and have not noticed any downtime whatsoever. I had my site hosted with three web hosting companies before, namely Dot5Hosting, IX Hosting, and 2IP hosting. I had problems with every single one of them. Dot5Hosting had the problem of slow servers and plenty of times the FTP would not work. Customer support was not very experienced either and there were many occasions at which the support staff representative would have to make an excuse. so I decided to quit Dot5Hosting after staying with them for two years.

My stay with IX Hosting did not last very long either. I left them after one year because of slow server speed. Then I saw the offer from 2IP hosting which promised lifetime hosting for only 30 bucks. I had hardly stayed with them for a year when they got hacked by the end of 2009 and went out of business. However, before quitting they apologized to all their customers and gave them compensation coupons for signing up with HostGator business hosting plan for a full year.

I had read positive reviews about HostGator before but was reluctant to sign up with them because of the relatively high cost. However, over the course of time, I have found that a little extra money does not matter much. On the contrary, if the quality of the hosting company is good, it can save you literally thousands of dollars in lost business no matter even if it is a bit expensive than others.

The last three years of my stay with HostGator have given me the peace of mind that I needed to focus on my business instead of having to worry about the web hosting aspect. I have found their service to be exactly what they state on the box. No loss of functionality during this whole time period and customer support has simply been unbeatable. The technical staff is so well versed, it has hardly taken me more than a few minutes to get my problem resolved. Hats off to HostGator for their rocksolid service backed by an exceptional customer support. Highly recommended hosting company!

I am a web developer and four years ago I was searching for a web host that could offer me plenty of features. Especially important to me was the ability to host as many domains as I liked because I didn't want to spend a fortune on hosting every site of mine on a new account. Another reason for seeking this feature was that almost all of my sites were pulling little traffic (around 200 uniques a day), so data transfer was not an issue for me. I have several of my blogs and websites hosted with HostGator and I've never had any problem with them. It's been two years now since I signed up with them. During this whole period, the downtime has been minimal. I had a problem only once when my account information got stolen, however it was not HostGator's fault but my own mistake. I contacted them, and after verifying all my credentials, they quickly restored everything. Highly recommended web host!
